Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc is consistently one of my favorite Organic wines. It opens with a wet stone and very mild lime bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced, clean, and fresh. The flavor profile is a gentle green apple with mild infused mineral notes. This was also a dash of white pepper detected as well. The finish is dry and refreshing. This wine is would pair very nicely with grilled swordfish with a lemon butter drizzle. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This is our 17th vintage of Sauvignon Blanc. Each year we barrel ferment and age it to give it body and a smooth finish. Because Randle Hill Vineyard encompasses steep terraces, rocky hillsides and gentle knolls, these different growing conditions lead to a complexity with aromas of grapefruit, citru and lime and crisp, clean fruity flavors including an underlying minerality. Outstanding with virtually any fish dish or as an aperitif. Try it with the Fish Tacos with Tequila Lime Aioli.
